Spring Sports

The kids all had fun with their spring sports this year.  Jesse and Soleil played organized sports for the first time:  T-Ball, with Steele Hendrix as coach.  He does a great job and they loved it.  They got progressively better during the season, and really learned a lot.  But honestly, what they did the most was have fun, which is most important.  Below is their team picture.  Jesse is third from the right in the back row and Soleil is in the center on the front row.

Rhett played flag football, with Jeff Thomson and Steele Hendrix as the coaches.  The team really was successful.  Most of the kids had never played before, but they got them organized and playing well together almost from the get-go.  lost only two games, and one of those was at the last second (had we been able to convert an extra point on the last play, we'd have tied).  As with the T-Ball team, the boys came a long way during the season, looking like a completely different group at the end than they had been in the beginning.  Below is the team picture.  Missing from the photo were Elijah and Noah.  Rhett is fourth from the right in the front row.
