Well, I won't tell you how old I am, but according to all of my kids and Ang, I'm pretty darn old. This post is also very late, but I thought I'd get it up there because I had to show my gratitude for my wonderful family. They are so good to me and make life so fun. The kids all woke me up extra early on my birthday to tell me happy birthday. I was very grateful for that, though I would also have been grateful for some extra sleep.
For dinner, Ang treated me to one of my all-time favorites: spaghetti, though we got to go out later on celebrate a little more on the weekend. In the picture below, you can see that she also treated me to my traditional birthday pie (I'm not much of a cake eater). Jesse saw a camera and came running--he's quite the little ham.
At work, my boss also took me out for lunch. We ended up, after trying several places which were closed, at an Italian place called Rosati's. Al Z., the new Finance Director, Dave Empey, the new Budget Manager, and I shared one pizza--possibly the best pizza I've ever had. It was really good, and even though in the beginning, I thought we'd have a lot left over, we finished the entire thing.
