Wonderful, Beautiful, Glorious Christmas!!

Well, after two weeks of Jesse asking if he could open his presents, two weeks of him being told "no," and two weeks of him threatening to open them anyway, he final got to, along with everyone one else.  We had a nice Christmas, and feel very blessed.

The kids were very excited yesterday, so we did everything we could to wear them out.  We took them to the park, had friends over to play, and sent them to friends to play, among other things.  They actually did go to sleep quite well, knowing the Santa Clause can't stop if kids are awake.  Ang and I were in bed pretty early too, having had a long day.  I thought I heard sleigh bells several times during the night, and it turned out that Santa did find us.

From Santa, Rhett got the Nintendo DS he's been wanting for a long time, and played it for the entire day.  We finally had to impose a "play-something-else" mandate to get him off it.  Jesse got another Legos set, and loved it.  He especially loves the little people that come with the sets.  Soleil got a scooter and some dry erase markers, which were her hit for the day.  She drew and wrote letters on the dry-erase board almost all day.  Ang got a cashmere blanket and I got several books and a digital picture frame for my office at work.

I spent a lot of today uploading video, sound, and pictures from our first few hours of Christmas and made a little slide show of our day called the Fullmer Sights and Sounds of Christmas.  Hope you enjoy.
