To complete some of Rhett's final requirements to earn his Wolf badge in Cub Scouts, we went to visit the
Hoover Dam and the new
Mike O'Callaghan/Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge that spans the Colorado River just South of Hoover Dam this morning. We took a little tour of the Dam first, the kids never really having spent time there before. We got some good pictures and enjoyed telling them about how it was constructed, how long it took to build. Then, we drove up to the bridge and walked out on it for about a third of the way. It offered some great views of the Dam. Both are absolute engineering and construction marvels!
