| Rhett Blows Out His Candles |
Rhett turned 9 today! As she always does for each of the kids, Ang got up very early to blow up helium balloons and have them in his room when he woke up. There was also a treasure hunt for the presents that led the kids on a wild goose chase through the house until they final found "X" marks the spot (the location of the presents), which was under our bed. Rhett got Lego Indiana Jones II for the Wii, some Lone Ranger pistols (which Jesse has pretty much taken over), and two board games: Life and Lego Pyramid. Ang made a chocolate cake which was delicious--very rich. We do parties every few years, and this is an off year for Rhett, so this year we just kind of celebrate as a family. Rhett chose to go miniature golfing, so we hope to do that on Saturday at
King Putt, and he wants pizza for his b-day dinner, so we are having pizza on Friday night.
