Soleil Loses First Tooth!

I'm a few weeks late on this as Soleil lost her first tooth in mid-December.  I guess it's not fair to compare how Soleil handled her first tooth coming out to Jesse (who cried and thought he was going to die) as she had the benefit of seeing him lose one and knew there was nothing to be afraid of.  But, she was much tougher.  No tears or wailing at all.  She was very excited as she knew the Tooth Fairy would now have to make a visit, and indeed the Tooth Fairy did found her and left a little money under her pillow.

Addendum 1/10/11:  Just yesterday, after brushing her teeth, Soleil came running up and told me her tooth was about to fall out (she has had a second one that was very close).  She has been saying this a lot lately, so I wasn't too surprised, but this time, it was just hanging on.  I asked her if she wanted me to tie a string around it and pull it out and (amazingly) she agreed.  Ang said there was no way she was doing it, but if I wanted to, to go ahead.  Ang got me a piece of thread which I looped around Soleil's tooth.  Then, in one quick pull, yanked it out.  It came out without causing her to so much as flinch because it was so loose.  She was very proud that she'd been so brave, and said it hadn't hurt a bit.  AND, the Tooth Fairy showed up again, so she was very happy.
